March Admissions

Due to the quality of training we offer a small class size and can only accept up to twenty (20) International students every year. There are no limits with our domestic students; once you meet all the necessary minimum requirements.

All our learners are trained from the beginner’s level  and complete at the advanced Level within the one (1) year or six (6) months training period.

We have three Mainstream Class Schedules for our Fashion Design Program. A One (1) year Regular Class, a Six (6) months Regular Class and a six (6) months Weekend Class. These Schedules each comprises of both our intensive training and a three (3) months compulsory internship with a reputable fashion house approved or assigned by the school.

The next admission will run for March 2023 Fashion Design Program. And all sessions undergo the internship unless communicated otherwise by the Administrative Office.

The regular school (both one (1) year and six (6) months Fashion Design program Schedules are Mondays to Fridays 9.00 am to 3.00 pm and 9.00 am to 5.00 pm respectively. And the Weekend school is Saturdays 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Sundays 1.00pm to 5pm.

Deadline for January 2023 applications is 31st January 2023 with classes commences on 16th and 18th of January 2023; Weekend School and Regular School respectively.

There will be late Admissions (Sandwich class) for the January 2023 Enrolment and class will commence in March. (Contact the school for more details) but applicants who register after the start of class and wish to join in the January class will be fully responsible to be up to date with the aid of appointed Tutors. Kindly note that students who enroll in the late admissions still graduate with the Mainstream admitted Students within the same timeframe.

OUR COURSES:

In the year, you take five mandatory courses for the Fashion Design Program in each schedule;

  1. Entrepreneurship & Business Management
  2. Fashion Illustration (Up to Advanced level) & Digital illustration (Beginners level)
  3. Pattern Drafting
  4. Garment Construction
  5. Accessories & Embellishment

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT & PROCESS

Given you can communicate well in the English language; both written and spoken, and are 18years and above you can apply.

Applicants for entry into the fashion design program must have completed SHS and/or be a mature student who has any of the following certifications minimum:

  • WASSCE
  • SSSCE 
  • JHS
  • For International Students the minimum requirement is a High School Diploma

Kindly note, Applicants under 18years who meet the minimum requirement, may also apply with a written consent from their guardians.

After, submit Filled Application Forms with two (2) passport-sized pictures and a copy of your national ID card. Online Registers should scan all necessary documents and attach.

Upon gaining Admission the Applicant will be scheduled for an online or face to face interview depending on your application process.

Fees: We understand present conditions hence we have reasonable flexible payment schedules available. Our School fees covers the Tuition Fees, Free training materials, Using of school Sewing Machine, Registration fees, T-shirt (uniform; only Mondays & Saturdays), Departmental Fees, Maintenance Fees (Please Contact Admission office on +233 240 187 828 for clarity of information).

SCHOOL FEES

Domestic Students ONLY – Main Stream:

The fees for Regular School (Monday to Friday) training is GHC 5000 equivalent to $881 for both our one (1) year and six (6) months Fashion Design Program.

Regular School: A payment of 70% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC 3500 / $617. The outstanding fees is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.

The Fees for the Weekend School training is GHC 5000 for nine (9) months.

Weekend School: A payment of 75% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC 3750 / $220. The outstanding fee is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.

Any breach in payment comes with a penalty charge of 10% on the outstanding fees.

International Students ONLY – Main Stream:

The fees for Regular (Monday to Friday) School training is GHC 5,500 equivalent to $969 for both one (1) year program and six (6) months program.

Regular School: A payment of 75% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC 4,125 / $727. The outstanding fees is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.

The Fees for the Weekend School training is GHC 5500 equivalent to $828 for nine (9) months.

Weekend School: A payment of 80% is required before classes begins which is equivalent to GHC 4400 / $260. The outstanding fee is spread within THREE EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS.

Any breach in payment comes with a penalty charge of 10% on the outstanding fees.

Residence Permit

Please note that the institution is not responsible for securing residence permit for any student, but can guide and assist students through the process.

Students are to submit their residence permit to the school administration within 90 days of being an officially registered student.

Students who do not secure their residence permit within 90 days of being in school will be automatically dismissed.

 

Private Training

Applies to both Domestic and International Students

Any form of arrangement that doesn’t fall within the general mainstream class sessions is considered a Private Training. All private training are tailored to suit the availability of the applicant along the schedule of the school.

All special training schedules have a class limit of five (5) students within a shorter period of training. This schedule is usually offered as a ‘one on one’ private training for candidates who need special training and a shorter training duration from the main stream training calendar.

All the five courses are treated in the private training and learners graduate within the scheduled graduation period for the Main stream class.

NOTE: Candidates who wish to take the private training but do not necessarily need all the courses treated can seek pricing from the school admission office.

OTHER PROGRAMS OFFERED

Bridal Mastery: – three (3) months training – GHC 3500 equivalent to $617 (Applicants interested in this course must have at least an intermediate sewing ability)

Digital Illustration: – three (3) months training – GHC 3500 equivalent to $617.

Kids Fashion: – one (1) month (During the long Vacation) – GHC 500 (ages 12 to 15 years) equivalent to $89.

Polish Your Seam stressing: – two (2) months – Three (3) times a week – GHC 2,200 (Candidate must have a seam stressing skill before applying) equivalent to $388.

Hair & Make Up: Two (2) weeks – Lace Connoisseur – GHC 1000 equivalent to $177, Two (2) Months – Basic to PRO – GHC 2000 equivalent to $353, and Three (3) Months Beginner to PRO – GHC 2800 equivalent to $493.

OTHER FEES

Applies to both Domestic and International Students

There is a COMPULSORY SAFETY PROTOCOL CHARGE of GHC 100 equivalent to $18 which is to be paid before commencement of class.

Also there will be a COMPULSORY mid-year class project dabbed “Yaba” which all students are required to pay GHC 600 equivalent to $106 (This fee is subject to amendment). This Class Project applies to all sessions of class regardless of the duration unless communicated otherwise by the administration.

MEASURES TAKEN TO ENSURE SAFETY TO ALL

As an institution, learning to adapt to the new way of working under COVID-secure guidelines, it has been crucial for us to maintain customer confidence in this new normal.

In adherence and support of the governments detailed release on guidance on how different sectors in Ghana can work safely during coronavirus, as well as an up-to-date list of businesses allowed to open, we have ensured that all measures are duly put in place and religiously observed.

COVID-19 is still a significant risk, so our institution is continuously doing everything it can to keep all customers safe.  Following government guidelines key for protecting our customers when they visit our premises, we reassure all that we have taken all the right safety precautions.

Kindly find below safety protocol measures taken to ensure the safety of all our customers.

  • Placement of poster on our campus and offices to demonstrate our awareness of the guidance and commitment to safety measures
  • We ensure employees and customers follow social distancing of one meter if two meters is not possible
  • Frequently cleaning objects and surfaces used regularly, such as industrial machines, surfaces and door handle
  • Availability of veronica buckets and hand sanitizers placed strategically for regular hand washing
  • Periodic disinfection of campus
  • Strict daily recording of temperature at the entry point.
  • The school has a holding room for monitoring and evacuating suspected covid-19 cases.
